The use of shared active mobility depends on several factors:

- **Cycling infrastructure** (cycle tracks, 30 km/h zones, bicycle racks, signage, etc.) available in cities.
- The **pricing** (subsidised annual subscription, hourly rate, incentive policy, etc.).
- The **availability** of the shared mobility fleet (number of vehicles, condition of vehicles, etc.).
- Information **reliability** (number of available bicycles, number of available docks, etc.). A user needs **to be sure** that he or she can easily find a functional bike when he or she needs it and can easily drop it off.

**UTE Pedalem** integrates Qucit Bike User into **Smou** application in Barcelona  
Since October 2022, **UTE Pedalem**, the operator of Barcelona's **Bicing** system, has integrated the **Qucit Bike User** API with B:SM's multimodal application, **Smou**. The objective of this integration is to allow users of the system to plan their trips by providing reliable information on the **availability of bikes in the next few hours**. A real improvement in the user experience!
