Our blog posts series presents the different cities with which Qucit has partnered to offer mobility system optimization solutions. Discover how our solutions contribute to improving urban mobility in these areas!

Singapore is a great place to cycle! In fact, the **city-state** has developed the **Park Connector Network (PCN)**, which stretches over 300 kilometres. It consists of a network of cycle paths and footpaths **linking parks**, residential areas, **shopping districts** and tourist attractions **throughout the city**. The PCN offers residents and visitors of Singapore many opportunities to cycle, stroll and enjoy **nature** while moving from one place to another in a safe and pleasant way. In addition to this **high-quality infrastructure**, Singapore offers several bike-sharing systems, including the famous **Anywheel**!

Anywheel has been offering **mechanical bicycles** to Singaporeans since 2018. In 2021, the **Land Transport Authority** has authorised the operator to increase its fleet from 10,000 to 15,000 vehicles for **280,000 public bicycle parking**. Anywheel thus manages one of the largest fleets of **shared bikes** in the world, with **35,000 bikes today**.

Since September 2023, Qucit has been assisting **Anywheel's teams** in their [rebalancing operations](/content/en/rebalancing-operations/index.html) to ensure a good quality of service for Singaporeans.
